Tips that hold true for most searches:
- Be precise. Use quote marks
for name or phrase, e.g. "Coffee
County, Georgia"
- Avoid common words (shopping)
- Use AND as you would in GALILEO:
south AND georgia AND college
- To require a term in a document,
use a + sign, e.g., +adoption
- To exclude a term, use NOT
"racing AND bike NOT car"
- Try a wildcard (*), like cook*
