NARROWING SEARCH

In GIL you can Narrow your search by language, location, date, medium, place of publication, and format. The following instructions show how to find audiocassettes and browse titles in the Georgia Room.

AUDIOCASSETTES

Go to the SGC catalog

Go to "Exact Search"

Click on the "Narrow My Search" in the right hand bottom corner of the screen. Under location highlight "Audiocassette" and click the "Narrow My Search" button.

This will take you back to the search screen. In the top left hand corner, you should see the blue "Search Limits are in effect!" message, as illustrated in the following screenshot.

Now, you can search for a specific title or you can browse the collection by clicking in the "Call Number" radial button and entering "ACR" in the Find This search box. This will bring up a list of all the audiocassettes where you can view 50 at a time.

GEORGIA ROOM

In the second scroll down box, narrow the searches location to GA Room.
